What is recorded here

Daingean Na Saileach hid a broad oval earthwork in Mid Cork pasture until ploughs erased it. A lone standing stone still marks the north-east edge, waiting for someone to remember the shape that vanished.

In level pasture, to W of stream. Depicted as hachured oval raised area (c. 60m E-W; c. 40m N-S) on 1940 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; no visible surface trace. Standing stone (6689) at NE edge of site.
