What is recorded here

Situated on a NNW-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area. A poorly preserved earthwork consisting of a semicircular area (diam. 6m approx.) which has been quarried from NE to E. A field fence intersects the site at N on a NW-SE axis. A possible external fosse is visible at SW only. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
