Earthwork in Brittas (thurles Par.)

Situated on a gentle W-facing slope in gently undulating terrain under tillage and adjacent to a railway line. Indicated as a rectangular enclosure on the 1st ed. (1843) OS 6-inch map with a field boundary forming the E side. The site was probably levelled when the railway line was constructed after 1843. It may have been a small field.
