What is recorded here
Ballymogue earthwork stands on a rise in County Carlow, its low ridges probably tied to a nearby castle. Whether builders shaped the land for defence or simply followed the natural slope, the result is a quiet claim on the horizon. Men may have lived there, loved there, forgotten there. The soil still holds the shape of their choices.
On rise in undulating area. Low earthworks visible on site probably connected with castle (CW013-041001-).
