Dunseverick Castle

Dunseverick Castle was built by the MacQuillan clan, a Gaelic Irish family, in the 16th century, and later held by the McKee family during the 17th century. It is important as a well-preserved example of a hilltop castle in Northern Ireland, reflecting the defensive architecture and social structures of the pre-plantation period.
