Drumfinglash Castle (in Ruins)

Castle, tower house

What is recorded here

Drumfinglash Castle stands in ruins at Cregmoher, County Clare, a tower house reduced to ghost limbs rather than a living wall. It is the kind of place where stone forgets the name of the man who built it, but keeps the shape of his anger, fear or pride.
