Single-arch bridge, built c.1870, crossing An Abhainn Bheag [Owenbeg River], comprising segmental arch with elongated rock-faced stone voussoirs and walls, with battered random rubble abutments framing recessed arch and spandrels, and with parapets having large field-stones to copings.

A robust and elegant road bridge built in the vicinity of Glenveagh Castle, and probably built around the same time. The elongated voussoirs to the arch and spandrels are a distinctive feature and contrast strongly with the rubble stone abutments and parapets to form a visually pleasing architectural composition. This simple bridge enhances its rural setting and displays local craftsmanship and materials.
