Large sub-rectangular area projecting SW from Bear Island into Bantry Bay. Low earthen bank (H 1m) runs across neck; shallow fosse on both sides of bank; field fence to landward side. Interior divided axially by natural fault. Rectangular hut site (6m x 3m) and various anomolous groupings of stones to E, on lower side.
