Detached three-bay single-storey gate lodge with dormer attic, built c. 1880, having single-bay single-storey canted projecting bay to left. Steeply pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles, ashlar chimneystack and projecting eaves and verges. Random rubble stone walls. Painted sills and render reveals to timber one-over-one pane sliding sash windows. Gateway, built c. 1880, to south comprising pair of rock-hewn limestone ashlar piers with stile to south.
