Dermot and Grania’s Bed is a natural cave cut into a precipice in County Sligo, named on the 1913 OS map. The stone mouth opens like a bedroom forgotten by time, inviting two shadows to lie together beneath the cliff. Grania may have fled there with Dermot, hiding from men and weather while the mountain held them close.
