Dermot Crowley

Dermot Crowley was born in County Cork, Ireland, on 19 March 1947, and has acted on stages and screens ever since. He played General Crix Madine in Return of the Jedi, Sergeant François Duval in Son of the Pink Panther, and Father Liam Deliverance in Father Ted. In 1989 he appeared as Mr. Simpson in the first Agatha Christie's Poirot episode, and in 2017 he played Lazar Kaganovich in The Death of Stalin. A man from Cork, he has wandered through galaxies, comedy, murder, and politics without losing his shape.
