Darren Ddu is a sea cliff located in Gwynedd, composed primarily of Silurian greywacke and formed through tectonic activity and subsequent erosion by marine and glacial processes. The cliff is notable for its steep, rugged profile and its representation of the ancient volcanic and sedimentary rock formations characteristic of North Wales.
