What is recorded here

Dallan is a vanished standing stone in County Cork, Ireland. It stood beside black soil in pasture but disappeared before modern mapping. No trace remains, only the memory that a vertical stone once marked the edge of ordinary ground.

Not marked on 1842 and 1906 OS 6-inch maps. In pasture, c. 50m NE of spread of black soil (14691). Removed. No visible surface trace.
