In pasture, on a ridge. A set of cursing stones, according to Wood-Martin (1892, 363) similar to the 'Sumaghan stones' (SL027-029001-) at Ballysumaghan, formerly existed here. They, like the 'Sumaghan stones' were the 'special heritage of the Summaghan family' (ibid.) There are now no visible remains of these stones. They were possibly associated with a rath (SL021-097001-) which is a short distance to S.
