Cupmarked stone in Coumduff

This stone rests on top of a large rock outcrop in a S facing pasture field strewn with many such outcrops and erratics. The stone, bearing 8 definite and 3 possible cup-marks, measures 1.4m x 1.15m. The rock beneath measures 2.7m x 2.9m and bears the inscription '11 August 1950'; near the S end of its E edge are 2 shallow possible cup-marks. The above description is derived from J.
