Cross-slab in Kilbarry

Likely dating to the early medieval period (5th–10th century), the cross-slab in Kilbarry may have served a Christian commemorative or liturgical function, possibly marking a burial site or religious station. Such cross-slabs are often associated with early monastic or ecclesiastical settlements in Ireland.
