Inishkeen Island, County Leitrim, Ireland, is a small sea place where a cross-slab stands inside the Friars Garden. The stone is not a monument for tourists or a stage for heroes. It is a marker for memory, prayer and human presence. That is why it still matters.
Located at the E end of Inishkeen island, c. 20m from the N shore and within the enclosure known as the Friars Garden (LE002-023003-) there is a stone slab (H 0.63m; Wth 0.25m; T 0.11m) with an incised cross (H 0.29m; Wth 0.16m) on the E face, which is set into a small stone cairn (dims. 5m x 3m; H 0.5m). There is the cut-stone base of a pillar (LE002-023006-) nearby.

Probably dates to the early Christian period, likely 7th to 10th century AD, given the style of the incised cross. Such crosses are often associated with monastic or ecclesiastical sites, suggesting a religious or commemorative function within the Friars Garden enclosure.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
