What is recorded here

Listed as slab G by Robert Cochrane for the OPW in 1912 and described as follows; '(G) Two pieces of a cross similar to C [WM015-001009-], but without loops. Each fragment shows a terminal containing a fret' (Anon. 1913, 48). Catalogued by Crawford in 1913 as slab (g) and described as a ‘A fragment 1 ft. [0.3m] by 7 in [0.18m], showing part of one end of a cross similar to (f) (WM015-001012-) but larger’ (Crawford 1913, 329). Cross-reference with GA084-151037- as the slab has now been moved to the OPW Depot in Athenry, Co. Galway. See attached 1912 OPW drawing of cross-slab G (Anon. 1913, 47).
