Five metres west of a broken cross-pillar, a small limestone slab marks a child’s grave in Eochaill. Its single-line cross still shows wedge-shaped terminals, though soil buries the shaft base. The slab is twenty centimetres tall and fourteen centimetres wide, small enough to fit beside a kitchen table, yet it belongs to a burial ground where children were laid to rest.

Located within a children’s burial ground (GA111-003001-), c. 5m to the W of a broken cross-inscribed pillar (GA111-003002-). This limestone slab (H 0.2m; Wth 0.14m; T 0.14m) bears a single-line Latin cross with wedge-shaped terminals. The base of the shaft is obscured by soil cover. This cross-slab, dating likely to the early medieval period (5th–9th century AD), may have marked a Christian burial or served as a memorial within a children’s burial ground. Its simple Latin cross suggests a Christian association, possibly linked to early monastic or rural Christian practice in the region.
