Cross-inscribed stone in Ardcarn (boyle By.)

Located on the E-facing slope of Ardcarn Hill, in Ardcarne Old Graveyard (RO006-103003-), c. 5m S of the SE corner of St. Beo-Aedh’s Church of Ireland church. A limestone grave-marker (Wth 0.4m; H 0.18m; max. T 9cm), which was first identified by M. A. Timoney, has a slightly convex surface (Wth 0.31m; H 16cm) which has an incised cross (H 15cm; span 18cm) with a T-shaped terminal (Wth 7cm; H 2cm) on top and oval terminals (H 2.5cm; Wth 2cm) on the horizontal piece.
