Within a burial ground (WI037-005----) situated on level ground overlooking the Dereen River valley. A possible granite cross-base towards the SE of the graveyard. A high cross in Liscolman, likely built between the 9th and 12th centuries, is associated with an early Christian burial ground and may be of granite construction; its style and dedication reflect the broader tradition of Irish high crosses, often linked to monastic sites and used for teaching or commemorative purposes.
