Crannog in Tirnahinch Far is a submerged or hidden lake dwelling in County Monaghan, Ireland, whose objects were recovered by Dr. S. A. D’Arcy in the late nineteenth or early twentieth century and now rest in Monaghan County Museum. The precise spot remains unmarked beneath Tirnahinch Lough’s swampy eastern and south-western edges, where reeds and rot would have swallowed its stakes, floors and fire debris. It may have been a seasonal refuge, a trading post or a household world, but the lake has taken the shape of that life and returned only fragments bright enough to be held.

Located in Tirnahinch Lough, a sub-triangular lake (dims c. 220m NW-SE; c. 180m NE-SW at SE). Artefacts recovered by Dr. S. A. D’Arcy from a crannog in this lake in the late nineteenth or early twentieth century are now in Monaghan County Museum. The lake has a wide, swampy foreshore on the E (Wth c. 50m) and SW (Wth c. 100m) sides, where the crannog might be located, but its precise location is not identified.
