Crannog in Lough Gara is a crannog in Lough Gara, County Sligo, Ireland. Radiocarbon dating places it in the Late Bronze Age. The low structure measures 18 metres north to south and 20 metres east to west, rising 1.5 metres above the lake-bed. Its surface holds angular and shattered stones between 0.05 and 0.1 metre across, mixed with animal bones.

In Lough Gara on the marly and muddy lake-bed. A low-cairn crannog (18m N-S; 20m E-W; max. H 1.5m above the lake-bed), the surface of which consists of well-sorted angular stones as well as shattered stones (diam. c. 0.05-0.1m). The cairn material is mixed with animal bones. A number of vertical posts were noted both at the edges and in the crannog body. A low shrub and some grass grow on the surface. This crannog has been radiocarbon dated to the Late Bronze Age (Fredengren 2002, KILC 021). It is one of a group of three crannogs (SL046-027----; SL046-029----).
