Crannog in Farranseer is a lost lake dwelling in Cornafean Lough, County Cavan, described in 1942 as a regular pile of logs about fifteen yards across with no upright posts. It sits twenty yards from the shore, close enough for a rope or reed bridge yet far enough to keep out casual visitors. The absence of vertical supports suggests the builders trusted water buoyancy and log friction rather than jointery. That is not a crude heap; it is a clever adaptation to a changing lake.

In Cornafean Lough. Davies (ITA Survey, 1942) described it as being 'a fairly regular pile of logs about 15 yards across; no upright posts'. Situated c. 20 yards from the shore. Not located.
