Crannog in Derrynagan is a lost lake island in County Cavan, Ireland. Davies recorded its packwork structure and morticed cross-beams in 1942, but every upright and horizontal beam had already been removed. Two beams and a dugout canoe lay together on the opposite shore, stripped from the water and abandoned on the land. The crannog itself has vanished, leaving only the memory of a place people built, took apart, and forgot.

Davies (1942, 20) recorded a packwork crannóg with morticed cross-beams at this location. He (ITA Survey 1942) added that there were formerly both uprights and horizontal beams, but all had been removed. Two of these could be seen together with a dugout canoe on the opposite shore of the lake, at that time.
