What is recorded here

Crannog in Ballindooly is an artificial island in County Galway, Ireland. Built of stones, soil and deliberate labour, it lifted a home, a workshop or a sacred place above the waterline. The lake may have hidden its edges, but the making of the crannog remains a clear act of imagination and survival.
