What is recorded here
A possible earthwork was noted on an aerial photograph taken in January 1987 (pers. comm. M. Casey). On inspection it proved to be a linear quarry cut into a small hillock. As it is of post-AD 1700 date it does not come within the remit of the Archaeological Survey of Ireland.
