What is recorded here

Crannog in Annaghoash is a recorded artificial island in County Cavan, though no further detail has emerged to confirm when it was built or who lived there. Water and time have taken most of what it held, leaving only a name and a shape behind. Whatever it was, it required effort, intention and repetition, which means someone believed the place was worth making.
