Craig y Mŵn is a sea cliff located in Powys, composed primarily of Silurian greywacke and slate, formed around 440 to 420 million years ago during sedimentary deposition in an ancient marine environment. The cliff is notable for its exposure of resistant volcanic and sedimentary rocks, which provide insight into the geological history of the Welsh Basin.
