Craig-na-Shoke is a sea cliff in County Derry, composed primarily of basalt formed during the Paleogene period, around 60 to 55 million years ago, as a result of intense volcanic activity associated with the opening of the North Atlantic. It is notable for its columnar jointing, a characteristic feature of ancient lava flows in the region.
