Craig Lloer is a sea cliff composed of Silurian greywacke and shale, formed around 440–420 million years ago through sedimentation and subsequent tectonic uplift. It is notable for its exposure of ancient marine sediments and its contribution to the rugged coastal landscape of north Wales.
