What is recorded here

Carreg Fran is a sea cliff composed primarily of Silurian greywacke, formed around 440 to 420 million years ago through sedimentation and subsequent lithification in a deep marine environment. It is notable for its resistant rock type, which contributes to the dramatic coastal scenery of the Gwynedd region.
