Clogwyn Twll Du is a sea cliff located in Gwynedd, formed from Silurian-age volcanic and sedimentary rocks, approximately 440 to 420 million years old. It is notable for its dramatic coastal exposure and the presence of the Clogwyn Du'r Arddu rockfall, a significant and unstable mass of cliff that has been studied for its geological hazards and processes.
