Crag Quarry Cave

Cave

What is recorded here

Crag Quarry Cave opens beside a abandoned stone pit in County Kerry, where human tools first broke the rock and water finished the job. The quarry men may have heard the cave before they saw it, a hollow drum under the hammers, then followed the echo into darkness. What they removed or revealed remains unrecordered, but the cave still holds the shape of that first violent curiosity.
The Irish Caves Database records Crag Quarry Cave at Crag in County Kerry. This point comes from its public cave register. A cave map point does not by itself grant access: check local conditions and ask the landowner where needed.
