Crag Quarry Cave opens beside a abandoned stone pit in County Kerry, where human tools first broke the rock and water finished the job. The quarry men may have heard the cave before they saw it, a hollow drum under the hammers, then followed the echo into darkness. What they removed or revealed remains unrecordered, but the cave still holds the shape of that first violent curiosity.
