According to Lewis (1837, 158) 'the Courtenay School immediately adjoining the town is of ancient foundation, but the house was rebuilt in 1826.' In turn this 19th century building was replaced by the current school on this site. Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 23 August 2012
