Corn stand in Dunganstown West

Corn stand

What is recorded here

This record was formerly entered in the SMR (1986) as unlocated 'Standing Stone (s)' based on the following reference in the OS Letters : 'a few perches to the south of the castle, among the trees, lie nine round pillar stones measuring three feet each in length and one foot nine inches in diameter' (O'Flanagan typescript 1927, 123). Upon subsequent investigation this was concluded to be a corn stand. Compiled by: Claire Breen Date of upload: 12 July 2013
