Two-arch stone bridge, built c.1820, carrying road north-south over River Lagan. Rubble stone walls and parapet walls. Segmental arches with dressed stone voussoirs. V-cutwater to west elevation, poured concrete plinth to central pier and to abutments.

This is a well-constructed stone bridge, retaining its original character despite later alterations. Still in use today, it spans the county boundary between Monaghan and Cavan. It is a notable landmark in this rural setting.
