Mid 18th century house built by Henry Peard (Bence-Jones 1978, 90); overlooking church (CO036-01902-) to SE. Five-bay; 2-storey over basement; central 3-bay breakfront. Central doorway with fanlight; central round-headed 1st floor window. Shouldered architrave around sash windows. Random rubble sandstone construction with rusticated limestone quoins. Hipped roof with well a 19th century alteration. Attributed to Davis Duckart (Glin 1967, 738). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
