Attached six-bay three-storey school block, built c.1880. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks, cast-iron rainwater goods and bracketed eaves course. Rendered walls. Square-headed openings with one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows and concrete sills.
Forming part of the Convent of Mercy complex, this building was added to the site as part of the educational function of the order. Though situated to the rear and of a simple form, it nonetheless remains an integral part of the site and retains much of its historic form and features.
