Sections of stone cobbling, c.1900. Repaired, c.2000.
These sections of stone cobbling are attractive, if subtle, components of the townscape of Passage East. The stonework is of significance as a reminder of a traditional method of paving in the locality, much of which has been lost in favour of modern materials of lesser aesthetic quality.
