A D-shaped area, 24.3m E-W and 16m N-S, is pointed out as a burial ground. The site is a low, level platform up to .6m above the surrounding ground. There is evidence to suggest that it was originally enclosed by a stone wall c. 1.5m wide. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A Neolithic burial ground, likely dating to the 4th–3rd millennium BCE; its D-shaped enclosure and raised platform suggest ritual or ceremonial significance. The presence of a stone enclosure indicates early communal burial practices and social organization in the region.
