Triple-arch road bridge, built c.1860, with curved cutwaters to upstream side of bridge. Snecked limestone walls with dressed limestone voussoirs. Segmental-arches to upstream side of bridge and round-arches to downstream side. Ashlar support additions to downstream side carrying cast-iron pipe.
Clonee bridge is a well built bridge constructed of well finished materials. The manipulation of the limestone used in its construction provides rich textural variation.
