Clogwyn Pryfed rises to approximately 550 metres and is part of the rugged terrain of the Carneddau range in North Wales. It is composed mainly of volcanic rhyolite and is associated with local legends of hidden caves and ancient druidic activity. It matters as a notable landmark for hikers and a site of geological and cultural interest in the Conwy area.
