Clochan (in Ruins)

On bare limestone c. 1.7km SW of Cill Rónáin, Inis Mór. Indicated on OS 6-inch maps as a rectangular structure on E side of a field boundary. All that remains is a subcircular mass of stone (L 8m, Wth 6.2m) abutting the field wall. A slight central depression may indicate the position of a collapsed chamber. Probably one of the two clochans referred to by Westropp (1895, 266) as 'one mile to SW [of Cill Rónáin]'.
