In a bowl-shaped recess on the NW slopes of Knocknadobar above Coonanna Harbour. Three huts on an island in a stream, and a fourth on the mountain slope a little above the main group.
(1) KE069-003----; An oval, slightly corbelled hut roofed with lintels and with an entrance at E. The wall at W is partially composed of uprights, .4m high. A semicircular wall extends S from the hut. D: 2.85m. H: 1.3m.
(2) KE069-003001-; A subrectangular hut, partly rebuilt. D: 2.3m x 1.5m. Adjoining at W, the foundations of a possible conjoined hut (KE069-003004-), poorly preserved and overgrown. Incorporating one large upright at W. D: 2.4m x 1.5m.
(3) KE069-003002-; A subrectangular drystone hut with slightly corbelled walls. D: 2.7m x 1.5m. H: .95m. T: .7m.
(4) KE069-003003-; On a mountain slope above the main group, a hut, of roughly square plan with an entrance, .45m wide, at E. The walls are of more regular construction than the lower huts and incorporate three well-built, corbelled chambers, two of which retain their roofing lintels. D: 2.8m. H: 1.05m. T: .7m (Henry 1957, 66-7).
