Situated on a steep east facing slope near the entrance to a N-S valley with extensive views north to Tralee Bay. The land use is rough grazing for sheep with exposed rock outcrops, thin peat cover and heather. Located directly uphill from a cabin and hut site. Clochán (ext. dims. 3.5m E-W x 3.1m N-S; max H 1.6m) built on a square base with the remains of a collapsed corbelled roof above the S facing entrance lintel (H 0.75m; Wth 0.6m). The structure is partially dug into the slope to the W and has a small, level terrace (Wth 0.8m), built around the E and S walls.
