No gate is visible on either side of the collapsed wall. That absence suggests the fort belonged to someone who never needed human entry, perhaps a threshold where the valley itself breathes rather than a home for ordinary people.

Internal diam. 25.6m A much ruined and overgrown cashel situated on a W facing slope at the entrance to Gleann na nGealt. The enclosing wall is reduced to a band of collapsed debris averaging 1.3m in height internally, .3m in height externally and c. 4m in width. There is no clear evidence for an entrance.
