Clehagh Stone Ringfort, fairy fort in County Donegal

Internal diam. c. 17.8m. A subcircular area enclosed by a stone wall 1m high except on the S side where the natural scarp is used and a wall may never have existed. In the NE quad-rant two rises might indicate the remains of a struc-ture. It is situated on a level platform which slopes to the SW. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'
