'Stone lined grave' discovered close to the SW quoin, outside it and parallel to the S wall of St. Mochta's House (LH011-115002-), during conservation work in 1934. The skeletal remains were not examined in detail and the grave is preserved in-situ. (CLAJ 1937, 35)

Cist grave, likely early medieval in date, associated with the vicinity of St. Mochta's House, an important early Christian site. Its proximity suggests a possible ecclesiastical or high-status burial context.
