What is recorded here
In an area of scrub on a NW-facing ridge overlooking the Caher valley. A cist was noted by Tom Coffey at IG 11705, 20348 (ITM 517018, 703513) and marked on an SMR map in 1994 (SMR file). On inspection in 1999 no monument was found at this location. The precise location remains unverified.
